Understanding AI Rate Limits and Quotas

Why Rate Limits Exist

To ensure consistent quality of service and prevent automated abuse, Marketora implements protective rate limits across both our public free tools and authenticated workspace endpoints.

Types of Limits

  • Per-Minute Burst Limits: Protect the AI inference engines from rapid-fire automated scripts. Normal interactive users will rarely encounter this limit.
  • Daily Workspace Quotas: Cap total daily AI generations based on your subscription tier to prevent runaway background tasks.
  • Anonymous Free Tool Limits: Public free tools on /tools/* enforce IP-based rate limiting to prevent scraper exhaustion.

What to Do If You See 'Rate Limit Exceeded'

If your team receives an HTTP 429 status code:

  1. Pause generation requests for 60 seconds to allow your per-minute window to reset.
  2. If you are running batch generation workflows, space requests with a 2-to-3 second delay between calls.
  3. Contact support if your team requires high-volume concurrent seat allocations.
We use first-party analytics to improve Marketora, and Google Analytics to understand site traffic. Nothing loads until you accept.
